Refunds of Software, (i.e ScanXL, ScanMaster and the Enhanced Software Packages)

Some people asks us: Why you cannot get a refund for software?

Answer:

We buy these licenses from the developer and they are non-refundable to us also. This rule would be the same for anyone who resells sfotware because the ScanXL and other enhanced programs are licensed to individuals when they buy them. They cannot be resold as a tangible item could be, once it’s registered under your name.

That’s why we cannot give any refunds on:

  • ScanXL Standard
  • Ford Enhanced Software Package
  • GM Enhanced Software Package
  • Mazda Enhanced Software Package
  • ScanMaster Software

Warranty Information: ( Elmscan 5 and OBD2 Cables Only )

Carplugs.com offers an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our products, you may return them within one month from the date on the invoice, for a full refund (minus shipping & handling charges). If you decide to return a product, please contact us to get return authorization.

If the product fails after the initial 30 days, Carplugs.com will repair or exchange the item at no charge. This warranty is valid for one year, starting from the date on the invoice.

We now offers a 90-day money back guarantee on Elmscan5 family and a 3 year warranty on parts and labor (Elmscan5).

International customers:

Please remember that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Packages sometimes do get lost in the mail, and we have no way to track your order down, unless it was shipped via Global Express Mail.

Sometimes “lost” packages are being held by the Customs. If you haven’t received your package within ten business days, please contact us, and we will send you the Customs Label number, which you can use to inquire about your package at your local Customs office.

US customers:

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, with Delivery Confirmation.

OBD2 Connectors:

We don’t offer any money-back guarantee on OBD2 connectors, enclosures or housings.

My country is not on PayPal’s list! How can I pay?
You need to send us an International Money Order in US funds. You would need to contact us by email before sending the money order.

Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes, we do. Please contact us to receive a quote. Our online products pages is for order of 10 or less.

How much are the shipping charges?

The shipping charges are calculated by the percentage of total sales. For example, for one(1) male connector sold in North America the shipping would cost $3.00 US and if it was sold International, the price would be $ 4.20 US.

When are the order shipped?
The shipement will be placed within 24 hours after the purchase, if by any chances we do not have the amount of connectors needed in stock we will contact you by e-mail.

How do you ship the connectors?

By first class mail for low quantities and air parcel post for larger quantities. We can ship by FedEx, UPS or DHL if you desire a faster turnaround time.
