  Please send me information about Elmscan-5 for PC plus pricing for software and connectors. I am buyong a laptop to use as my primary scantool and I am searching for a good program to install that can handle all of the systems in today’s cars US and foreign. Also I am looking for software to handle ABS, Airbags, HVAC, Suspension and any other systems you can think of.

  Hi Victor,

  The Elmscan5 works great with all kind of cars. It is also CAN compatible, so it will work with cars that are 2005 and up. This is also called OBD3.

  For Software, you have 2 kinds. The free one that comes with all elmscan5 scan tools and the Scan XL that comes only with the Emlscan5 Scan XL: Check here:

  Yes, It can be used on a Saab.
